It’s hot… (and rainy).. I’ve been workin’ hard…
so I’m going to ‘laze’ my way thru this issue…
I should really do what the tv networks do…
broadcast ‘old’ crap and save the better stuff
for when people aren’t out & about for a bar-b-que holiday !

I’m off work next week… (2 more weeks in August)
After recharging… I just might put more effort into RIP !

James enlisted in the army during World War I.
When he returned he appeared on the stage in “The Five Million.”
He then turned to writing, including “Is Zat So”,
which he produced for the NY stage. He also wrote and acted in
“The Fall Guy” and “The Shannons on Broadway.”
Next he wrote The Broadway Melody (1929) for MGM.
He collaborated on The Swellhead (1930), Dumbbells in Ermine (1930),
What a Widow! (1930), Rain or Shine (1930) & His First Command (1929).
He and his wife were then contracted to Pathe, Lucille to act,
and James (or Jimmie as he was known) as a writer.

As an actor, he had the good fortune of being able
to play himself in most roles… which fit perfectly…
AND KEPT HIM IN DEMAND !!!

familiar with GOOD & PLENTY candy ?

My daughter has taken a sudden liking to them…
Out of my reach, on the black mats of my car,
I noticed that she had dropped  one of the white candies…
I didn’t bother with it for days…
I FINALLY GOT RID OF IT…
I was stopped at a red light, looked down at it…
and wondered if a police officer, at a traffic stop,
would believe that is was candy & not a drug capsule !

To prove it candy, I’d have to eat it…
Thus, destroying evidence…

little rollers could be installed short distances apart
to generate power.. even little bits (that add up) on highways…
or to run water pipes under the roads
and capture the heat generated by frictrion from tires
and use that to create use-able energy…
