were informed the morning after
Farrah Fawcett & Michael Jackson died…

That long-time ‘guest’ of the show…
‘TIPPY  TOM’ had  DIED  !!!
He was an alcoholic, homeless guy they ‘adopted’…
(they were always good to him)
someone who will be getting a 3 day tribute
culled from his appearances over the years…
(he was ALWAYS gold)
In the city morgue since May…
the show (with permission from family)
will provide a ‘real’ funeral for their ‘friend’ !
(a nice gesture)

ANYWAY…
They’ve successfully done this before…
requesting fans of the show to ‘google’ someon or something
and making it the ‘TOP’ GOOGLE TREND OF THE DAY,
but it should be impossible to make the list higher than
FARRAH or MICHAEL

from substance abuse, the Rhode Island Democrat said.
“I have decided to temporarily step away from my normal routine,”
Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy says in a statement.
In May 2006, Kennedy, the son of Sen. Edward Kennedy,
was admitted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota,
a day after slamming his car into a security barricade on Capitol Hill.
At the time, Kennedy said he had been suffering from addictions
and depression since he was a young man.

“I have always said that recovery is a life-long process
and that I will do whatever it takes to preserve my health”.
I hope that in some small way my decision to be proactive
& public in my efforts to remain healthy can help remove the stigm
that has served as a barrier for many Americans
reluctant to get the help they need.”

WHEN DOGS ATTACK !!!
(why does that make me think of Perez Hilton?)

My neighbor was very alarmed when one of her 4 dogs
took notice of one of my cats lounging on my porch.
The dogs are friendly enough… but started heading for the cat…
(and the other 3 dogs followed)
and it probably wasn’t to smell asses !!!

I was the one to warn HER though…
Said that I wasn’t worried about the cat…
that her dogs would come out on the short end
if they decided to cause trouble…

SHE WAS IMPRESSED (and probably worried)
when MY cat… Pumpkin (or ‘Pumper’ as I call him)
‘yawned’ at the approaching dogs and never flinched !
The ‘PUMPER’ finally arched his back into ‘karate kid’ position,
and calmly waited to see if there was going to be trouble !
(not even a hiss)
‘Pumper’ had survived, and gotten the better of,
some nasty REAL critters when he lived
at our Pennsylvania house for his first 6 or 7 years…
THESE (basically non-threatening, or growling) dogs
weren’t going to make him back down…

‘PUMPER’ WON THE STARE-DOWN !!!
(and lay back down as if hardly notice-ing)

THE WOMAN WHO OWNS THE DOGS ?
I have a feeling the dogs will be kept away from ‘Pumper’…
for THEIR own safety !!!

I’ve been catching some of the cable tv re-runs of
THE SOPRANOS

First of all…
WHAT WAS ALL THE FUSS FROM ITALIAN AMERICANS ?
<yawn>
(unless the problem is that SOME don’t see it as fictional)
IT’S ENTERTAINMENT !

But what I really wanted to say is
that the show ‘flows’ much better on A&E
with all the shows in ‘the can’ !

The wait between seasons on HBO was brutal !
There was NO flow !
See-ing the continue-ing story without years
of in-between time waiting is a much better experience…

I WISH I HAD NEVER SEEN THEM ON HBO
SO I COULD ENJOY THEM AS ‘NEW’ NOW !
